Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Join Encora as a Senior SDET and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• Strong experience with automation testing using Pytest, with a proven ability to write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases
• Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries to validate data transformations and ensure the integrity of data in databases or warehouses
• Intermediate knowledge of Databricks and DBT, including understanding catalogs/schemas/tables and basic knowledge of how to run queries and write DBT project seeds

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automated tests using Pytest, ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of applications across the entire software stack
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand business requirements and effectively write complex SQL queries for verifying data transformations and expected behaviors
• Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth deployment processes and streamlined testing workflows
