Summary
Join Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) as a Senior Software Engineer in their Identity and Access Management (IAM) team! You will architect, design, and implement secure and scalable identity solutions. Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate identity services across products. This role requires expertise in OAuth, SAML, Keycloak, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL. Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 6+ years of industry experience with a focus on identity and access management
- Expertise in OAuth, SAML, and other authentication and authorization protocols
- Hands-on experience with Keycloak or similar IAM platforms
- Strong Java / Spring Boot / SQL experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with OWASP, NIST standards and frameworks
Responsibilities
- Design & build secure, scalable IAM solutions using OAuth, SAML & industry standards
- Implement, customize & optimize Keycloak for peak performance & security
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Champion IAM best practices, and drive adoption across the organization
- Continuously learn & evaluate emerging trends & technologies in the IAM space
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
- Certifications in identity and access management (e.g., CIAM, CISA, CISSP) are a plus
