Requirements

• Experience in working remotely as part of a distributed team
• A strong passion for solving customer problems using AI-driven approaches
• Expertise in building AI systems, with a focus on LLMs or similar technologies
• A solid understanding of balancing speed with quality, delivering effective solutions without compromising long-term vision
• Proven experience with web frameworks to develop full-stack applications at scale
• A strong background in building APIs and large-scale distributed systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Be part of a highly focused, innovative team that is passionate about AI
• Partner with product managers and designers to develop AI-powered experiences across dbt Cloud
• Shape and define AI-driven user experiences in collaboration with other teams
• Interact directly with dbt Cloud users to gather feedback and iterate on solutions
• Lead and champion AI initiatives, ensuring AI adoption across the platform
• Innovate and experiment with cutting-edge AI techniques to create practical solutions for real-world data challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience using dbt or understand its role in analytics engineering
• Have worked on AI projects that directly impact end-users in product-focused environments
• Can demonstrate a passion for data and analytics engineering
