Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Algolia is seeking a Back-end Engineer to grow its Generative Shopping Experience team. The role involves designing and maintaining APIs and pipelines of GSE products within the Algolia ecosystem, troubleshooting high impact issues, and coordinating with other team members.

Requirements

• Experience working with APIs at scale
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining the pipeline and APIs of the GSE products within the ecosystem of Algolia
• Be responsible for the quality, soundness of the system
• Work within the team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve high impact issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Good spoken and written English skills
• Preference for candidates with experience at our current stage and beyond (over 10,000 customers, $50-200M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure)
