Requirements

• Extensive experience in Python programming, with a deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient Python-based software solutions to support machine learning, cheminformatics, and drug discovery initiatives
• Translate research ideas and proofs-of-concept into production services, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Machine Learning Cheminformatics & Research and Drug Discovery, to understand their requirements and deliver impactful solutions
• Apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical and business challenges and drive innovation in the field of drug discovery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native development practices
• Experience with data engineering tools and techniques, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Familiarity with drug discovery processes and workflows, and experience working in a research environment
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and tools, and experience applying them to real-world problems
• Knowledge of cheminformatics principles and techniques and experience working with chemical data and software tools
