Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to drive the development of their innovative cybersecurity products. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering business-critical outcomes, leading projects that span the stack, leveraging your design and architecture skills, excelling as a team player, and understanding the importance of intentional communication.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience in full-stack development
• Strong system design fundamentals and experience building scalable systems
• Knowledge and use of common data structures and algorithms to solve problems
• Proficiency in a range of modern programming languages and frameworks, particularly in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience working with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

Responsibilities

• Deliver on business-critical outcomes through product contributions to Blackpoint's cybersecurity platform
• Define and build world-class user experiences that delight all of Blackpoint customers
• Own end-to-end the experiences you define and build
• Lead and drive projects that span Blackpoint's stack, including Node.js services hosted in Kubernetes and a UI written in Typescript and React

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with multiple releases a day
• Exposure to AWS and DevOps is a big plus
