Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a software engineer at CloudWalk, a fast-growing fintech company. The role involves designing and developing APIs, discussing architecture strategies, improving team productivity, leading in test suite development, helping other engineers, evaluating tools, and contributing to engineering-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Has operated critical infrastructure and partnered with renowned cloud providers
• Possesses excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
• Possesses knowledge of distributed systems and event driven architecture
• Possesses some SRE skills
• Has some knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem (installments, SPI, SPB, CIP, etc.)
• Is proficient in developing software using Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Communicates outstandingly well
• Fluency in Portuguese
• Advanced English communication skills, primarily for internal communication with our diverse, multinational team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and other leaders at CloudWalk to design and develop our APIs
• Discussing and debating architecture strategies to achieve solutions for our customers
• Helping and improving the team to achieve unparalleled technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity
• Lead in developing and sustaining automated test suites, diving deep into debugging production issues
• Help and nurture engineers on the team, guiding them to scale new heights in their careers
