Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Column is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve the engineering practices. The role requires experience with serverless architectures, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and monitoring. The ideal candidate should be based in North America or South America (EST to PCT time zone). Requirements

• Experience managing serverless architectures (preferably Firebase)
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading projects focused on DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and monitoring (DataDog / Sentry / CircleCI power user)
• 2+ years writing production react code as a senior SWE at a company with less than 100 software engineers
• Opinionated about NoSQL data model patterns, Node / Typescript standards, and testing strategies
