Summary

Job Description: Guideline is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their expanding engineering team remotely. The employee will work on modernizing software solutions for the financial industry and build consumer-facing products. The expected salary range is $127,500 - $205,000 annually.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building consumer-facing software products
• Experience programming in at least one backend language (like Ruby, Python, Go) and one modern frontend framework or rendering library (React, Vue, Angular)
• Working knowledge of relational databases, designing APIs, and security lifecycle best practices
• Familiarity with (or wants to learn) how to run modern distributed systems environments built with Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP

Responsibilities

• Build modern software solutions to an antiquated financial industry
• Create user interfaces, use message queuing infrastructure, streamline operations, and design systems architecture
• Automate administrative tasks and build unique solutions to solve users' problems
• Lay the groundwork for further expansion and scale
