Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintaining and administering production-grade Kubernetes clusters
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration
• Proficiency in Python or Go and ability to debug code
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation practices
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Terraform, Packer, or Ansible
• Understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture patterns
• Emphasis on security best practices
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Kubernetes clusters in customer environments
• Automate service deployments with a GitOps mindset
• Collaborate with software and platform teams to ensure successful integration and delivery
• Participate in the design, implementation, and lifecycle maintenance of ICEYE’s on-premise product stack
• Respond to incidents and ensure system SLAs are met
• Lead demos, pilots, and technical interactions with customer teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes certifications
• Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio)
• Familiarity with the LGMT Monitoring stack
• Background in Earth Observation, satellite, or ground station systems
• Quality assurance or software lifecycle knowledge
