Senior Software Engineer, Data Tools

Summary

Join the Data Tools team at Included Health and build tools to address real-world healthcare challenges using data. Empower Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams to create personalized healthcare recommendations. Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems for data collection, aggregation, and governance. Utilize open-source tools and languages like Python, Go, and Scala. Requirements

• Hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Possess 5+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C#, C++, Go, Java, Python, or Scala
• Have 3+ years of experience building data ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS Athena, Apache Flink, or Apache Spark
• Have 1+ year of experience developing production-grade frontend applications
• Be physically located within the United States of America

• Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems to collect, aggregate, and govern data
• Develop, implement, and release multiple data processing solutions using distributed systems
• Deliver impactful outcomes for your team and the business through high personal output
• Mentor engineers, improving their skills to maximize their impact
