Summary

Kadro is seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves development and support of Adobe Commerce sites, custom integrations, requirements analysis, project estimation, and troubleshooting. The candidate should have a strong background in object-oriented design, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML/CSS/Javascript, PHP IDE (preferably PHPStorm/JetBrains), and experience with JS frameworks like jQuery, Knockout, and RequireJS. Minimum 3+ years of Adobe Commerce experience is required, and Adobe Commerce Certification is preferred. The position is remote and the candidate must reside in CO, FL, NC, NJ, OH, SC, or TN.

Requirements

• Strong background in object-oriented design, design patterns, and industry best practices
• Experience with MySQL / MariaDB
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Proficient knowledge in object-oriented programming and web development
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with PHP IDE (preferably PHPStorm / JetBrains)
• Ability to juggle and handle multiple tasks and projects
• Experience with JS frameworks, preferably including (JQuery, Knockout, and RequireJS)
• Minimum of 3+ years with Adobe Commerce

Responsibilities

• Adobe Commerce/PHP engineering including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and support
• Develop custom integrations between Adobe Commerce and third-party software
• Install and configure first and third-party extensions
• Requirements analysis and project estimation
• Define and document technical approaches
• Ensure best practices and perform code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug and test issues
• Work directly with clients to provide technical direction and advice
