Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Full-Time Software Developer in Charlottesville, VA or remotely. This position requires an Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance. You will need 10+ years of software development experience with various programming languages and experience with DevSecOps and continuous delivery. You must be proficient in provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code. Experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, and network technologies is essential. Required certifications include IAT Level II and AWS Certification (within 30 days of hire). A BS degree in a relevant field is also required.

Requirements

• Have 10+ years of software development experience
• Possess IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security+
• Obtain AWS Certification within 30 days of your start date
• Hold a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• Have an Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop software using programming, scripting, or markup languages such as Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML
• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as Terraform, Vault/Secrets Manager, and with Platform as a Service technologies
• Work with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, and network technologies including DNS and load balancing
