Requirements

  • Be a product-minded and pragmatic engineer, prioritizing solutions for customer problems
  • Be a problem-solver, tackling new and unseen challenges and identifying root causes
  • Have a passion for building distributed systems and scalable, robust architectures

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of our sensitive data and classification engine
  • Build systems to process billions of messages a day
  • Develop data ingest pipelines
  • Work on the sensitive data remediation system
  • Develop risk identification and ranking engines
  • Build alerting systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with TypeScript (Node.js) in backend service development
  • Have experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging systems
  • Have experience with AWS and Terraform, and deploying/managing services in a cloud environment
  • Be familiar with Temporal for orchestrating complex workflows
  • Be familiar with monitoring systems at scale with a tool like DataDog
  • Have hands-on experience operating data-intensive applications at scale
