Requirements
- Be a product-minded and pragmatic engineer, prioritizing solutions for customer problems
- Be a problem-solver, tackling new and unseen challenges and identifying root causes
- Have a passion for building distributed systems and scalable, robust architectures
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our sensitive data and classification engine
- Build systems to process billions of messages a day
- Develop data ingest pipelines
- Work on the sensitive data remediation system
- Develop risk identification and ranking engines
- Build alerting systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with TypeScript (Node.js) in backend service development
- Have experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging systems
- Have experience with AWS and Terraform, and deploying/managing services in a cloud environment
- Be familiar with Temporal for orchestrating complex workflows
- Be familiar with monitoring systems at scale with a tool like DataDog
- Have hands-on experience operating data-intensive applications at scale
