Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Orum is an AI-driven live conversation platform that aims to make sales more human and efficient. They are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and own features end-to-end using their current technology stack (NodeJS, Ruby, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH). The role requires experience in software development, backend applications with Javascript/Typescript, RDBMS using SQL, React, Unix shell scripting, and more. Requirements

• Experience owning a product or feature through its lifecycle - from discovery to deployment
• 6+ year experience of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of experience building backend applications with Javascript/Typescript
• Experience working with an RDBMS using SQL
• Experience building front ends with React
• Familiar with Unix shell scripting

Responsibilities

Build and own features end-to-end, taking it through conception, implementation, shipping, and iteration

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience measuring and tuning performance of NodeJS applications
• Experience with cloud infrastructure programming with one of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
