Summary

Join SentinelOne's Detection Operations team as an experienced software engineer to build and maintain cloud orchestration systems for the SentinelOne detection engine. You will design scalable, secure, and reliable systems handling millions of end-user machines globally, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and researchers. This role involves backend development using Golang and Python, integrating with AWS/GCP, CI/CD, databases, and messaging systems. Requirements

  • Experience with developing and maintaining software products with high quality and over multiple years
  • Comfortable with creating and maintaining backend cloud systems
  • Demonstrated experience learning and willingness to learn new languages and technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Willingness and ability to work in a diverse, globally distributed team

Responsibilities

  • Innovate, lead and contribute to backend distributed systems and delivery pipelines to improve the SentinelOne product
  • Take ownership of solution end-to-end. From understanding the business need, through designing scalable solutions, to leading execution and driving successful delivery
  • Write and maintain primarily backend code in several languages, e.g. Golang, Python, integrating with related technologies, e.g. AWS/GCP, CI/CD, databases, messaging systems
  • Design for scalability, security, and reliability across a globally distributed computing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-stack development, especially data visualization and orchestration, preferably with React.js
  • Building CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and/or data engineering
  • Communication and organization in large, distributed teams
  • Security products, especially detection systems and/or machine learning
