Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Two Six Technologies as a Software Engineer and contribute to innovative SaaS solutions supporting mission-critical communication technology. You will develop, test, troubleshoot, and secure software within a team, working primarily with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript. The role is fully remote within the continental US, with occasional travel. A security clearance is a plus but not required. This position offers the opportunity to work on large, distributed computing platforms and leverage LLMs and generative AI. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications and practical experience
• 3 years of experience with software engineering from a backend or full stack perspective, including database integration, automation, and Kubernetes web-based applications on Linux
• 3 years of combined Go, Python and JavaScript experience
• Eligibility to obtain a government clearance if required/needed

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions for mission-critical communication technology
• Test and troubleshoot software applications
• Secure software applications and infrastructure
• Work within a team of engineers to deliver impactful features
• Prioritize quality while delivering features
• Work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Utilize Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Integrate with Postgres databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including technical writing and visualization
• Experience working with and supporting UX/UI or QA automation team members
• Experience with development on AWS and using Elastic/ELK
• Experience with Postgres or similar open source SQL databases
• Experience with git, GitOps, Flux, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD
