Remote Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join WellSaid as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and contribute to the development of our Text-to-Speech application, Studio. You will own feature development, collaborate with engineers and designers, and help maintain components of our application. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for leading feature teams, building complex features, and providing technical guidance.

Requirements

• Several years' experience with React (alternatively, Angular, Vue, or similar)
• Experience with Typescript (alternatively, Java, C#, or similar)
• Understanding of software design principles such as DRY, SoC, Dependency Injection, etc
• Experience building and shipping end-to-end features to a sizable user base
• Working knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms
• Ability to self-direct the planning and scoping for a project
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Own the development of features
• Help maintain components of our Text-to-Speech application, Studio
• Follow design specifications
• Work collaboratively and independently in a mature web codebase
• Develop a collaborative user interface for generating audio
• Develop the next version of our editor
• Develop our avatar marketplace
• Develop a streamlined custom onboarding experience
• Improve the user experience for larger teams to collaborate together to create human-parity audio
