Join Xplor's technology team as an Android Engineer and collaborate with your product team to define and build precise requirements. Write clean, well-tested, and well-abstracted code, actively participating in code reviews, mobile guild discussions, sprint planning, retrospectives, and QA processes. The role requires significant Android development experience using Kotlin/Java and Android Studio.

Requirements

• 7-8 years’ experience building Android applications using Kotlin/Java and Android Studio
• Proficient in Kotlin, with strong expertise in Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming
• Skilled in architecture patterns including MVVM, MVI, and MVP for scalable and maintainable codebases
• Experienced in Dependency Injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger
• Experienced in writing unit tests using Mockito or Mockk and UI tests using Espresso
• Proficient in Retrofit for handling API calls and network communication efficiently
• Experience working with a cloud platform like AWS, GCP, or Firebase
• Passionate learner and collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
