Summary

Join Pantheon's Developer Experience Team as a Senior Software Engineer and enhance the core software used by customers to deploy code and interact with our platform. You will improve Pantheonโ€™s integration with Github, Gitlab, and other VCS providers, ensuring top-tier performance, stability, and user experience. Build new services and maintain existing ones, working with technologies like Go, node, Python, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Run. Contribute to technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This remote position offers competitive compensation and a fantastic work environment.

Requirements

  • Passion for continuous learning on a diverse technical stack
  • Desire to build new features and push the capabilities of the product forward
  • Capacity to work carefully and meticulously, to ensure products are reliable and well tested, and deployments are stable
  • Good writing skills, to contribute to technical documentation
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • 5-10 years of experience working with complex distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Go and Kubernetes
  • Demonstrated capability to work with diverse technical stacks
  • RESTful and Graphql APIs, databases and revision control systems

Responsibilities

  • Enhance Pantheonโ€™s ability to integrate with Github, Gitlab and other external VCS providers, ensuring our platform delivers top-tier performance, stability, and user experience for developers and content creators
  • Work on building new services and maintaining existing ones that keep Pantheon at the cutting edge of web development
  • Work on a wide variety of technologies, including Go, node, Python, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Run
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Work well with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress
