Summary

Join Synctera's Billing & Lifecycle team as a Frontend Software Engineer and build core user experiences for Operations and Finance teams. You will design and build scalable frontend applications, collaborate with backend engineers and product managers, and drive UI/UX improvements. This role requires 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, proficiency in React, TypeScript, and React Hooks, and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer (or equivalent experience in a similar role)
  • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and React Hooks
  • Familiarity with web fundamentals like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs
  • A good eye for design patterns, web architecture, and building user-friendly experiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
  • Must be located and authorized to work in the US or Canada

Responsibilities

  • Design and build amazing, scalable frontend applications for FinTech partners, banks, and internal teams
  • Work with backend engineers and product managers to create amazing experiences
  • Drive UI/UX improvements that enhance billing visibility, optimize workflows, and financial reporting
  • Solve engineering problems as part of a small team
  • Be a leader on the ground and in the code
  • Keep learning, keep growing, and help your team do the same
  • Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes
  • Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with banking systems, billing, or financial services interfaces
