Summary

Join InProduction as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the modernization of our core internal platforms. You will leverage React, .NET, Rest APIs, and SQL databases to build new web applications and integrations while maintaining existing functionality. This role requires proficiency in various technologies and involves collaborating with the Senior Product Manager and Director of IT. The position is fully remote, but on-site presence at one of our office locations is preferred. Requirements

  • Be proficient in React, SQL Server, and .NET Development
  • Be proficient in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and T-SQL
  • Be proficient in Rest API implementations
  • Be proficient in developing complex SQL stored procedures and user functions
  • Have experience creating database schemas
  • Have experience implementing automated UA and Smoke tests
  • Have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Be fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Participate daily in Microsoft Teams meetings
  • Be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Learn the business to effectively and efficiently migrate our internally developed legacy webforms ERP application to a React, .NET API, SQL stack. Included in the rewrite, is expanding the current capabilities to allow the business to optimize performance
  • Assist the Senior Product Manager and Director of IT in translating business requirements to technical specifications
  • Leveraging React, and .NET, add to or maintain the functionality of our current web applications and REST APIs
  • Leveraging T-SQL, add, modify, or optimize SQL databases, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
  • Develop, deploy, and optimize automated User Acceptance and Smoke tests
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and operation of Continues Integration policies, artifacts, and deployments
  • Document existing and new code base
  • Review and test code written by contractors when the need arises

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have knowledge of ASP.NET Webforms
  • Have experience with SQL In-Memory Database implementations
  • Have experience with Continues Integration implementations
  • Have experience with Azure Dev Ops
  • Be located on-site at one of our existing office locations
  • If working remotely, have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated private and quiet office space large enough to accommodate company provided equipment such as monitors, laptop, UPS, dock, desk phone, and work desk
