Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

Summary

Join Runwise, a fast-paced climate-tech startup, as a Senior Fullstack Engineer. Contribute to impactful new product features and improve operational posture by designing, testing, implementing, and operating core software deployed in buildings and cloud infrastructure. You will work with Golang, React, and TypeScript, integrating marketing platforms with internal systems. Improve monitoring and alerting across the ecosystem. This role offers a significant impact on customer savings and carbon footprint reduction. The company is remote-first with offices in New York and Boston. The salary range is $140,000-$200,000.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of hands-on experience writing in Golang
• Have 2+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript web applications
• Have 5+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer
• Be passionate about building new products and working with systems at scale
• Have experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, SQS, AWS Lambda, EC2, and CloudFormation

Responsibilities

• Be a contributor to our core Golang app and AWS infrastructure
• Be a contributor to our core Web App, in React and TypeScript, used by our internal staff and customers to manage their heating and cooling services in their buildings
• Integrate our marketing and customer platforms, SalesForce and PlanHat, with our internal systems and services including AWS Athena and DynamoDB
• Contribute to our Operational Excellence by improving our monitoring & alerting across all aspects of our ecosystem, including cloud and IoT infrastructure
