Senior Software Engineer - Growth

Summary

Join Wallarm's Rapid Prototyping Team as a Software Engineer and contribute to the development and launch of quick technical experiments, working closely with leadership to explore new opportunities. You will work across multiple programming languages and tech stacks, building and testing prototypes, MVPs, and proof-of-concept implementations. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment between technology and business goals. Iterate rapidly based on user feedback, technical feasibility, and business impact. Contribute to architectural decisions for experimental and future production-ready systems. This role requires 5+ years of software development experience and proficiency in at least one backend language.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development across different technologies
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language and willingness to learn new ones
• Experience in building and deploying web applications, APIs, or distributed systems
• Understanding of databases and data storage solutions (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Redis)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly iterating on ideas and adapting to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into quick solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you will work closely with the CEO and CTO

• Build and test prototypes, MVPs (minimum viable products), and proof-of-concept implementations
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment between technology and business goals
• Iterate rapidly based on user feedback, technical feasibility, and business impact
• Contribute to architectural decisions for experimental and future production-ready systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with our existing technology stack: Go, Python or Ruby
• Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with AI agents and LLM usage
• Experience with frontend technologies like React and TypeScript
