Requirements

• Software development experience in either Java or Python
• Software development experience in either TypeScript or JavaScript
• Track record of successful projects, support, and growth
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale
• A curious mindset and a keen problem solver
• The desire to collaborate empathetically with other engineers as a subject matter expert

Responsibilities

• Work in a highly autonomous environment
• Conceive, design, and build full stack features, starting at the infrastructure layer, while operating at scale
• Analyze, identify, and execute on solutions to improve existing applications and user experience
• Help triage and support a rapidly growing cross-company user ecosystem
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with teammates and stakeholders
• Guide and mentor peers
• Collaborate closely with adjacent teams to guide the evolution of Kubernetes at HubSpot

Benefits

• Cash compensation range: 186300-279500 USD Annually
• Base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles
