Summary
Join Samsara's Mobile Platform team as a remote engineer in Canada! We're building the frameworks and tooling that power our mobile apps used by over 500k daily active users. You'll design, implement, and document shared components, mentor other engineering teams, and improve our CI/CD systems. This role requires 8+ years of enterprise software development experience, 4+ years on a mobile-focused team, and 2+ years with React Native. Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing and delivering enterprise software

Responsibilities
- Propose, design, implement, and document shared components/frameworks for use across multiple applications within our ecosystem
- Consult with and mentor other engineering teams to guide them through mobile-specific concerns as they plan and build customer-facing features
- Ensure a top-quality developer experience by improving the reliability and usability of our continuous integration, metrics collection, and mobile build systems
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraβs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Redux and GraphQL
- History of evangelizing operational excellence practices
- Experience on a platform team serving internal engineers
- Experience shipping and maintaining features over several years
- Experience leading engineers to incrementally deliver large projects
