Senior Software Engineer III

Summary

Join OpenX Poland's Cracow team as a Software Engineer (Python)! We're seeking an open-minded, proactive, and self-motivated individual to design high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems. You will architect, create, and deliver new features, working with product teams across multiple locations. Responsibilities include improving system efficiency and scalability, identifying and removing unnecessary complexity, and thinking long-term. We offer competitive compensation (17,000-19,000 PLN gross/monthly or 139-155 PLN net/hourly), flexible hours, remote work options, and a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of Python experience, database system design expertise, and excellent English communication skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years for similar position working experience in Python along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Experience with databases system design, RDBMs (MySQL, Postgres) or NoSQL
• Excellent written and spoken English skills

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems
• Architect, create and deliver new features and functionality
• Work with Product to drive the requirements, and own the project end-to-end
• Work with Engineering and Product teams distributed across multiple locations
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes
• Think long-term and be unsatisfied with band-aids
• Identify unnecessary complexity and remove it, analyse existing solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working in digital media, marketing technology or advertising technology
