Senior Software Engineer in Test

Requirements

• Have experience in Software Development, with at least 5+ years of proven experience in test automation as part of a Software Engineering team
• Be proficient in writing clean, maintainable code in OOP languages (Java, Kotlin, Ruby)
• Have a strong understanding of React and TypeScript
• Have used a wide variety of automation tools like Selenium/Selenide, Cypress/Playwright, Postman, Performance testing tools
• Be expert in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Spinnaker)
• Have hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana)
• Have familiarity with cloud-native, high-traffic SaaS infrastructure and technologies like AWS Services: S3, Aurora, EKS
• Conduct manual testing as much as needed such as bug bash, accessibility, security or to support test design and automation
• Be comfortable with modern workflows and tools like SAFe, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GSuite
• Be fluent in English (verbal and written), and able to clearly articulate problems and solutions
• Be eager to learn new things, improve your skills, and apply what you have learnt and suggest solutions wherever possible

Responsibilities

• Apply the test pyramid concept and know what to test at each level—from high-level abstraction to in-depth testing
• Enjoy owning specialized testing areas like performance, security, or accessibility testing
• Be experienced with CI / CD, familiar with maintaining and improving testing frameworks, and not afraid of designing and writing them from scratch
• Thrive in lean product development environments where fast decisions, iteration, and continuous learning are the norm
• Be ready to lead test solution projects and testing domain areas
