As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the automated test strategy, reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering. You will be responsible for evaluating and implementing tools and frameworks to improve testing infrastructure, recommending process improvements, leading quality-related work, owning the testing automation strategy, maintaining existing frameworks, writing and debugging code for automated testing, defining and managing processes, and providing performance metrics. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and extensive experience in QA, test automation, manual testing, C#, AWS, microservices, .NET, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and front-end/UI testing. Advanced English is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8 + Years of experience working in a QA and Test Automation position
- 5 + Years of experience working with Automation Testing
- 5 + Years of experience working with Manual Testing
- 2 + Years of experience working with C#
- 2 + Years of experience working with AWS
- 2 + Years of experience working with Microservices
- 2 + Years of experience working with .NET
- Experience with Cypress and Playwright
- Consistent experience with front-end and UI testing
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with Selenium
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools and frameworks that will improve the overall effectiveness of our testing infrastructure
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, technologies, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt
- Lead out in quality - related work, train, and mentor team members
- Own the testing automation strategy, test data management strategy, and test automation for the entire testing organization
- Maintain existing test automation frameworks for all applications that automation currently supports
- Write, debug, and execute code used in both API and UI automated testing efforts
- Define, implement, and manage processes and โbest practicesโ regarding automated testing
- Provide metrics on business process and code coverage for automated test suites
