Summary
Join EarnIn, a leading provider of earned wage access, as a Senior-level engineer on the payroll services team. You will design, develop, and implement robust integration solutions connecting the core system with external software services and platforms. Collaborate with product management, QA, and vendor teams to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable integrations that drive business value. This hybrid role can be based in Mexico City or remotely, offering benefits like healthcare, internet/cell phone reimbursement, a learning and development stipend, and potential travel opportunities to the Palo Alto HQ.
Requirements
- 4+ years of development experience in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Proficient in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Python,C#, or similar) with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a bias towards action and results
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of integration frameworks and APIs to interface with third-party systems
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration solutions, including system diagrams, data flow, and API contracts
- Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance
- Develop UI components with a framework like React.js or similar
- Regularly review and update security protocols in collaboration with the security team to mitigate potential risks associated with third-party connections
- Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team by leveraging a broad skill set
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, maintainability, and alignment with project requirements, while providing constructive feedback to team members
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software features within established timelines
