Summary

Join BitMEX, a leading global crypto derivatives exchange, as a Senior Mobile Engineer. You will be part of the Product Engineering team, developing and maintaining high-performance mobile applications using React Native. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications, contributing to all stages of development, optimizing app performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will need 5+ years of professional software development experience and extensive React Native experience for iOS and Android. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Extensive experience in developing, testing and deploying cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android using React Native
• Proven ability to monitor, identify and resolve stability and performance issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications
• Contribute to all stages of development, from ideation and architecture to implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring
• Ensure that the app is optimized for performance across various devices and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, standups and retrospectives
• Keep current with new technologies, libraries and trends in mobile development and React Native ecosystem to provide innovative solutions and recommendations
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices for maintainability, scalability and testability
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring coding standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in native mobile development (Swift or Kotlin/Java)
• Experience with automated testing suites like Jest or Mocha
• Experience with Redux or other state management solutions
• Knowledge of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading
• Background in fintech, crypto, or trading platforms
