Senior Software Engineer-Full Stack

Summary

Tripadvisor is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their remote team and lead design and implementation of complex technical systems. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to define system requirements, being responsible for the quality of code shipped, and mentoring junior engineers. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 5+ years of large scale development experience, and experience with Java, SQL, React, AWS, and IaC frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of large scale, full life cycle development experience
• Experience and skills in designing and building Java-based programs and applications
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO design
• Experience working in a tech lead capacity
• Cloud Platform experience (AWS) and knowledge of some IaC framework (eg. CDK)
• Experience with full stack web development with React or some other JavaScript based framework is required
