Senior Software QA Test Engineer

Summary

Join Experian as a Senior Software QA Test Engineer and lead projects, design and develop test cases, and conduct tests across multiple platforms. You will incorporate automation tests into the build process, create test plans, design and execute test automation frameworks, and communicate test results. This role requires mentoring junior engineers, working within an Agile environment, and possessing technical expertise across various platforms. You will also coordinate integrated testing, develop comprehensive test plans, write SQL queries, and work with various stakeholders to build detailed test cases. Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software QA with focus on manual and performance testing Experience in manual and automation testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7)
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies
• Experience with Test Management tools such as Jira Zephyr, QTest, or similar
• Experience with both front-end and back-end web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, XML, Javascript, CSS)
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and understanding of database concepts
• Familiar with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer
• Experience with Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency and shell scripting
• Experience with ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading

Responsibilities

• Use test plans to incorporate automation tests as part of the build process
• Mobile, Web and Desktop testing experience including test planning, execution and reporting product status to deliver a high quality software product
• Create test plans following the test strategy, and analyzing system design
• Design, document and execute test automation framework
• Communicate test results and issues to technical and non-technical team members
• Mentor Test Engineers and Vendors on team to increase the skill of others
• Experience working in an Agile development environment. Work design process into Agile methodology
• Technical knowledge and experience to maximize opportunities and constraints of different platforms/code bases
• Work within Agile project teams, continuously releasing application software and support of continuous integration processes
• Coordinate integrated testing activities
• Develop, prepare and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems
• Write simple SQL queries
• Read multiple system input/output files like XML, JSon, Flat, 834, 835
• Work with business analysts, business SMEs and developers to build detailed test cases

Preferred Qualifications

Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner a plus
