Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development testing in any programming language/platform
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks
  • Experience with Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, or similar test automation tools
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
  • Knowledge of API testing
  • Experience with load, performance, scale, and security testing
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities
  • A high commitment to engineering quality and customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategic direction of test automation with a metrics-driven approach
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead the design, development, and implementation of test automation strategies, best practices, and automation standards that cover the full test pyramid
  • Write high-quality test code for UI, API, and integration testing that is scalable, maintainable, efficient, and secure, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
  • Coach and mentor less experienced test automation engineers, providing guidance and support in developing their skills and expertise in pursuit of engineering excellence
  • Participate in code reviews and lead to the development of testing standards
  • Monitor and analyze test results, working with other engineers to identify and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner
  • Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and documentation, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain documentation of test plans, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies

Experience with agile methodologies or related iterative development processes
