Summary

Join Readyset as a Senior Solutions Architect to bridge customer needs with product capabilities, accelerating product adoption and driving the success of enterprise implementations. This fully remote role requires a strong engineering background, exceptional communication, and expertise in distributed systems, databases, and caching solutions. You will collaborate with the GTM team, act as a product expert, drive technology evaluations, develop technical content, partner with product and engineering teams, build customer relationships, and represent Readyset at industry events. The ideal candidate possesses 5-7 years of customer-facing technical experience, strong SQL expertise, and experience with database optimization and caching solutions. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a customer facing technical role (sales engineering, solutions engineering, etc.) for database or caching technologies, with a minimum of 3 within a pre-sales environment
  • Strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience with database optimization, caching, or scalability solutions
  • Experience provisioning and maintaining a Postgres or a MySQL database on AWS or GCP, or self hosting it
  • Proven ability to work with enterprise customers in complex technical environments, solving database performance challenges
  • Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
  • A scrappy, independent approach, excelling in end-to-end project ownership and problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the GTM team during pre-sales to identify customer needs, provide technical expertise, and address challenges
  • Act as a product expert, offering technical support and driving technology evaluations for prospects
  • Actively drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process with our prospects of various technical levels
  • Develop technical content (e.g., documentation, articles, white papers) to establish thought leadership and educate customers and prospects
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to advance Readyset based on customer feedback
  • Create and maintain reusable assets like guides, demo environments, and pre-sales materials, to support scalable processes
  • Build trusted relationships with customers to drive adoption, expansion, and long-term success
  • Represent Readyset at industry events, webinars, and conferences
  • Maintain deep expertise in database technologies and industry trends to proactively engage clients, identify new opportunities, and provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and product adoption
