Requirements

  • 7+ years of complex technical project experience - not just any projects, but the kind where you're integrating multiple systems, managing competing stakeholders, and where failure isn't an option
  • Real solutions architecture skills - you can look at a client's existing tech stack and design something that actually fits, scales, and won't break their other systems
  • You've done this before with real consequences
  • Strong hands-on coding ability - you can write production JavaScript, work with APIs confidently, prompt LLMs, and build integrations end-to-end
  • Whether you're coding it yourself or reviewing someone else's work, you know what good looks like
  • Proactive communication skills - nobody needs to check in with you for status updates because everyone already knows where things stand, what the blockers are, and what the next steps are to ensure successful delivery
  • You're the single source of truth that keeps both internal teams and client stakeholders moving in the same direction
  • Business sense - you understand that technology serves business goals, not the other way around
  • You can connect technical decisions to revenue impact and help clients see the bigger picture
  • An ownership mindset - when something's broken, you fix it
  • When there's a blocker, you find a way around it
  • When a client needs something delivered, you make it happen
  • You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do

Responsibilities

  • Architect solutions that fully automate customer conversations
  • Production systems that handle complex inquiries across chat, email, voice, and social media channels
  • Manage complex projects from start to finish
  • You own the technical outcome by setting clear expectations, managing risks, and navigating blockers to ensure successful, on-time delivery
  • This might mean coding JavaScript integrations yourself to ensure a successful go-live, enabling the client's dev teams to build parts of the solution, or coordinating with contractors to hit a deadline that can't be moved
  • Become our clients' trusted advisor
  • Build strong relationships with technical leaders - CTOs, engineering directors, architects - who rely on your judgment when implementations hit roadblocks
  • Confidently challenge assumptions and push back when their ideas don't make technical sense, guiding them toward solutions that actually advance their business goals
  • Shape what we build next
  • The enterprise challenges you solve today become product features tomorrow
  • Your client feedback directly influences our roadmap, and you'll work closely with our product team to make sure we're building what the market actually needs
