Senior Staff Engineer - Lead SRE

Summary

Join our dynamic and rapidly growing Digital Product Engineering company as an experienced L3 SRE engineer! You will provide business-critical SaaS application support across the full stack, from infrastructure to front-end. A key responsibility is automating SRE tools for proactive support, aligning with our tech monitoring strategy. You'll need to manage incidents and problems, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with various teams and end-users. Experience with multi-tenant applications, networking concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS is essential. Proficiency in Kubernetes and Terraform is a must.

Requirements

• Have experience with multitenant applications
• Possess a solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, etc.) such as VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing, TLS and SSL
• Have experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions) & version control
• Have experience with Python, react/next
• Have experience with AWS, particularly EKS, serverless, queue & various databases
• Possess solid knowledge of Kubernetes
• Demonstrate strong communication skills
• Have expert-level skills in Kubernetes
• Have expert-level skills in Terraform
• Have experience with Github Actions
• Have experience with Shell Scripting
• Have experience with AWS

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support across the full stack (infra, backend, front-end) for business-critical SaaS application before escalation to engineering business unit
• Automate SRE tools to provide proactive L3 support, aligning with our tech monitoring strategy
• Work under business pressure for business-critical applications
• Communicate effectively with L1, L2, Engineering, Product managers, leadership and end-users during troubleshooting
• Manage incidents and problems
• Utilize monitoring and logging (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki or ELK) to analyze & track resource utilization, application performance, and identify potential issues
