Senior Staff Integrations Engineer

Summary

You will leverage your 10+ years of experience in Workday integration tools, including EIB and Report Writer, to design and develop solutions meeting client needs. Requirements

• Have 10+ years of total experience
• Possess expertise in Workday Integration tools, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Report Writer
• Demonstrate strong working experience in Calculated Fields, and Workday Studio
• Have hands-on experience in Workday Connectors (Core, PECI, PICOF) for Payroll Integrations
• Possess experience with Web Services & APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST, WS standards)
• Have hands-on experience with Document Transformation and XSLT
• Possess knowledge of Workday Core HR business processes and Workday Security
• Have experience with Middleware integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
• Demonstrate familiarity with source control systems (TFS, Git) and SCM tools
• Show understanding of SCM tools and practices, and experience with Team Foundation Server
• Work with HR and IT teams to align integration strategies with business needs
• Assist in business requirements gathering and translate them into technical work items
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Workday Talent and Performance
• Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Understand the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Make mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identify different solutions and be able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Define guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Write and review design documents explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Review architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Develop and design the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understand and relate technology integration scenarios and apply these learnings in projects
