Requirements

  • 10+ years professional experience in Java backend development
  • Proven expertise in multithreaded programming
  • Deep experience with Jetty or similar embedded web servers (e.g., Undertow, Netty)
  • Strong understanding of systems design, high-throughput messaging, and I/O performance tuning
  • Proven experience in high performance, throughput systems
  • Solid grasp of JVM internals, memory management, and profiling tools

Responsibilities

  • Build or re-architect backend services using Java and embedded Jetty for ultra-low-latency performance
  • Ensure multi-threaded, high-concurrency applications scale to support massive data ingestion and processing requirements
  • Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and influence technical roadmap and architectural decisions
  • Collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver resilient, secure, and observable services and applications
  • Integrate open source and open standards reducing internal code generations and reaping the benefits of the open-source community

Preferred Qualifications

  • SNMP, NetFlow, API Frameworks
  • OpenTelemetry and Network Monitoring
  • Data experience with Clickhouse and MongoDB
