Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in a statistician role or similar
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in statistical software like SAS or R, and knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design
• Strong oral and written communication skills to present findings to a variety of audiences
• Ability to use statistical procedures to find answers to real-world problems
• Strong ability to focus on details and execution

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by disseminating data to researchers
• Provide leadership and direction on output review
• Review new data sources and present findings to user audiences
• Participate in and offer analytic guidance on high priority analytic data file discussions
• Support data science/analytic tasks
• Perform statistical modeling
• Create and presents white papers on analytic data products
