Requirements

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate as well as distill data into actionable information to drive results
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems with effective solutions
  • Relationship Building: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, inclusive of senior members of management with ability to influence at all levels
  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
  • A keen analytical eye and experience building integrated models from scratch (in Excel, or other planning applications)
  • Experience building financial models of large scale programs including identifying, assessing and controlling for uncertainty and risk
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills are required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with GTM and Product leaders to develop annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the Retention funnel
  • Leverage your financial background to support and influence key strategic and business decisions
  • Design and provide analytical rigor to measure efficiency and ROI of investments in headcount and non-headcount expenses
  • Drive reporting, process and discipline for finance routines to shape and influence decision-making (e.g. budget, forecast, monthly reviews, long-range plans)
  • Build and own models for in-depth analyses, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance
  • Partner with cross functional teams, such as Data Science, to develop reporting dashboards
  • Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification and reporting enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to build dashboards in Tableau or other BI tools
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple takeaways and are not hesitant to voice your point of view
  • Prior experience with SalesForce.com or ERP/NetSuite
  • Prior experience in a high-growth high tech/software/SaaS organization
