Summary

Join our team as a Senior Systems Engineer and contribute to simplifying IT for small businesses. Collaborate with our IT teams and MSP clients, lead projects, and manage complex technology environments.

Requirements

  • Able to be onsite in the Denton office 5 days a week
  • Able to travel offsite to customer locations
  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in a similar Senior Systems Engineer role, demonstrating a history of successfully delivering complex IT solutions
  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to excel in a fast-paced client-focused setting
  • Exceptional skills in designing innovative technology solutions that address complex client needs
  • Proven ability to lead in the development of project scopes and budgets, aligning resources with project objectives

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship to junior team members through leading collaborative efforts for case escalation and knowledge sharing
  • Develop comprehensive project scopes and budgets, ensuring meticulous planning and successful project execution within established timelines
  • Take charge of project tasks, ensuring their on-time completion and delivering exceptional solutions that meet and exceed client expectations
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer technology requirements, encompassing storage, network, and compute resources, and provide strategic recommendations
  • Expertly identify, analyze, and resolve complex customer technology issues, leveraging your technical prowess to deliver effective solutions
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Management (CSM) team to provide strategic recommendations and analysis on customer technology roadmaps, contributing to long-term success
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, nurturing their professional growth and development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Proactively monitor our schedule and incoming request queue, orchestrating efficient responses to all service requests
  • Skillfully manage ticket completion, consistently meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on ticket priority, utilizing various communication channels including the ticketing system, phone, and chat
  • Thoroughly document work performed and time expended, adhering to established protocols and systems
  • Be prepared to travel and deliver onsite support as required by our Service Coordinator, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction
