Senior Tax Accountant

Requirements

• CPA or Certified Enrolled Agent
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience
• Proficient in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the tax preparation of closely held businesses
• Organizes and manages client assignments, tax returns, and projects including the completion of assignment tasks and project components in a timely and on budget manner
• Coach, advise, and direct team members in meeting firm, client, and self-development expectations
• Directs and reviews the work of Staff Accountants and is capable of making decisions on most tax matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in audit and accounting-including preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements is beneficial
• Construction accounting experience is a plus
• Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Suite is a plus
