Requirements

  • 8+ years of corporate tax accounting and compliance experience
  • BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business-related field is required
  • Deep understanding of income tax provisions
  • Ability to perform tax technical and accounting research independently
  • Experience working effectively with all levels of an organization from clerical staff to executives, managing relationships with external parties, and developing staff
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and deadlines, and proactively drive results

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist with the in-house preparation of the annual and quarterly global income tax provisions
  • Help continue to identify opportunities to optimize the global tax accounting, compliance, and cash-tax forecasting processes
  • Coordinate and review outsourced direct and indirect returns for US domestic and foreign jurisdictions
  • Assist with ongoing analyses, maintenance and documentation of global tax nexus positions and transfer pricing methodologies
  • Involvement in due diligence, tax structuring and planning efforts related to both M&A and organic business expansion
  • Help monitor, assess and implement the impact of global tax law and accounting literature developments
  • Assist with US domestic and foreign direct and indirect tax audit defense
  • Help coordinate and manage the US domestic R&D tax credit process
  • Help maintain the global tax filing and process calendar
  • Assist with documentation and maintenance of global tax department policies and procedures
