Senior Technical Architect

Summary

The Senior Technical Architect at IOG is responsible for the technical strategy and direction of one or more products, leading software engineering teams, and designing software architecture. The role requires a deep understanding of computer science and engineering, strong commercial awareness, and proven leadership experience in component or product level architecture.

Requirements

• A Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (advance degree nice to have)
• A minimum of 5 years of industrial/commercial development
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated leadership leader in component or product level architecture

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and be accountable for the technical strategy & direction of one or more IOG products
• Design and deliver new features while communicating and educating all stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to development teams
• Ensure choices to use new languages or libraries include training and usage standards for the project
• Be pragmatic about technical debt and make difficult decisions or compromises in the architecture

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of decentralized application architectures as well as functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
