Summary

Join Version 1 as a Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Consultant and lead the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud PaaS integrations. You will provide day-to-day support and quality assurance, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality integration solutions. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder, and related technologies. You will mentor junior developers, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices. The position demands troubleshooting production issues, designing integrations, implementing B2B flows, and collaborating with clients. You will also conduct code reviews, prepare documentation, and support DevOps pipelines. Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience in Oracle integration technologies, including 3+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SaaS APIs (ERP/HCM/SCM), including REST/SOAP endpoints, security tokens, and web service catalogues
  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and BICC data extract integration
  • Hands-on expertise in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, SOAP, REST, and SQL
  • Familiarity with Oracle SaaS data models and common business processes (e.g., AP/AR/PO/GL, HCM/Payroll)
  • Experience with OIC connectivity to external platforms (e.g., Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Workday)
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, Basic, API Key) and OCI Vault management
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging OIC flows using diagnostic logs, audit trails, and activity streams
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to lead technical discussions
  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot production issues and persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes in OIC
  • Design, build and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including Application Integration (Orchestration), Scheduled Integrations, and File-based Integrations
  • Develop and support REST/SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) and on-premises/cloud applications
  • Implement B2B flows (if applicable), error handling, retry mechanisms, and OIC monitoring/logging best practices
  • Support all aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases form Impact Assessment through testing and defect support on technical components
  • Utilise Oracle Visual Builder for custom UIs and Oracle Process Automation (OPA) for workflow orchestration (where needed)
  • Work with Oracle SaaS services (ERP, HCM, SCM) to consume OTBI, BICC, FBDI, HDL, and PVOs for integration scenarios
  • Design and configure security components such as OCI Vault, Secrets, Certificates, and OAuth2 flows
  • Collaborate with clients on data mapping, transformation logic, and interface contracts
  • Drive performance tuning and optimisation for long-running integrations and large payload handling
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and guide junior developers and offshore teams
  • Prepare design documents, integration specifications, and deployment artefacts
  • Support DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation for OIC code promotion (optional but desirable)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Process Automation (OPA)
  • Familiarity with OCI Services: Object Storage, API Gateway, Functions, Autonomous DB (ATP/ADW), Stream Pools
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud DevOps pipelines or Jenkins/GitHub CI/CD for OIC promotion
  • Oracle certifications in OIC or Oracle Cloud Platform (preferred but not mandatory)
  • SC clearance eligibility or prior experience in public sector (desirable)
