Senior Technical Documentation Manager

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced, and passionate writer to lead technical documentation efforts across all Tether products. This role involves documenting open-source projects and platform products, including public npm modules. You will proactively update documentation to keep pace with rapid development, create high-quality application examples, and address community questions. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in Node.js development, documentation writing, and open-source technologies, along with excellent English communication skills and experience with remote collaboration. Tether offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Node.js developing high-quality, clean and efficient code
• Experience with C/C++ is good to have
• 2+ years of experience in documentation writing and is highly proficient in the English language
• Good experience in reading code across different programming languages
• Passion and experience working with open source technologies
• Remote Collaboration: Since our team is distributed globally, experience in remote collaboration and communication is essential to align with our dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Experience with Git and markdown are essential

Responsibilities

• Proactively update the documentation to match the rapid development pace of the development team
• Writing and improving documentation, guides, FAQs, etc
• Developing high quality proof of concept application and example snippets
• Staying aware of questions and issues faced by the community and improving the documentation to support them better
