Summary

Join Karbon as a Senior Implementation Consultant and lead end-to-end software implementations for accounting customers. You will support the sales team, act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, analyze and resolve technical challenges, and build a deep understanding of Karbon's platform. This role requires a qualified accountant background, strong knowledge of the UK accounting software ecosystem, and experience leading large-scale software implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with no-code automation tools and previous sales experience. Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (or equivalent practical experience working within or alongside accounting firms)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK-based accounting software ecosystem
  • Practical experience with APIs and how they apply to integrations and workflow automation
  • 2-5 years experience leading large-scale software implementation projects, ideally within B2B SaaS or fintech environments
  • Proficient in billing and payment processing software and technology platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently in a fast-paced setting
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end software implementations for accounting customers, inclusive of working with external contractors, managing data migrations, system configuration, integrations, and training for large user bases
  • Support the sales team with objection handling, acting as a subject matter expert to assist in closing deals
  • Serve as a key liaison between the customer and internal teams including product, support, and sales
  • Analyse and resolve technical challenges, ensuring customers receive timely and effective solutions
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of our platform’s capabilities, APIs, and integration options
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the UK accounting software landscape, providing consultative guidance to customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with no-code automation tools, such as: Zapier Make.com Prismatic.io or similar integration platforms
  • Previous sales experience or comfort in consultative selling and upselling during customer engagements
  • Understanding of modern SaaS tools and best practices for user adoption
