Senior Test Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, Hungary's largest ICT employer, as a tester in the Starlight team within the CANVAS "Billing, Collections & Credit Risk" department. The team maintains the Dolphin legacy system and develops a new microservices-based billing system. You will test bugfix releases, maintain automated test sets in Robot Framework, and create and automate system-level test concepts for the new architecture. The team communicates in English, though German is helpful. This role requires at least two years of software testing experience, agile practices, basic DevOps and SQL knowledge, familiarity with Jira, Git, Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, Unix/Linux, and Robot Framework, and fluency in English. Remote work is possible within Hungary.

Requirements

• At least two years of software testing experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Dolphin legacy system. You, as our new tester, will need to test the new bugfix releases. Some part of the regression test is automated so you need to maintain the existing test sets in robot framework
• Main focus is the test of a new billing system based on Microservices architecture
• You, will be responsible for creating test concepts for system level and automate that for  automated running tests and reuse it for automated regression tests and pipelines for the new Microservices architecture
