Remote Senior Test Automation Engineer

Summary

Join us as a Senior Test Automation Engineer! You will join the Customer Monitoring team which forms part of the Cloud Platform department. This will be a new team with a focus on engineering actionable monitoring and alerting tools (such as APIs, status pages etc.) for RELEX customers.

Requirements

• Passion to create maintainable and versatile automated tests with readable reports
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright )
• Interest in collaborating on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Enthusiasm in creating effective test strategies and delivering clear test reporting
• Experience with exploratory testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to collaborate within an agile environment
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality of your work

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback
• Conduct exploratory testing to assess the quality of new features
• Report and track defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve them
• Engage in agile ways of working, enabling adaptability, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on collaboration to deliver value efficiently
• Provide input on testability and quality aspects during the design and development phases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud technologies and container technologies is a plus
• Experience testing UIs
• Experience with performance/load testing
• Experience with Agile frameworks
